Dig This!

April 17, 2011

Although Earth Day is  less than a week away (Friday, April 22), this year there is a giant bunny casting a shadow over the calendar date. So you might as well get your search on for one of the many events Philadelphians can get involved with over the weekend of April 30 and May 1.

Clark Park has their annual celebration going on right now. So find a mode of transportation and get over the the Uhuru Flea Market in West Philly. Last year was a great time, great music, food and local spring clean up items for sale. This year is probably nothing short.

As for April 30th, Kensington CAPA and  Mural Arts has an awesome, “get down and dirty” event happening. The key points to this event are (Organics, Community, Gardening, Schools, and Paint). Here is the webpage for the event.
