Handplane – Reduce, Reuse, Reride

It’s a strange name but a good concept, and looks like a fun product to ride the waves with this summer! If you’re looking for a unique gift for someone who loves to ride, this would definitely be it.

This handplane helps out ReRip.org which saves surfboards from going into landfills and gets it to people who need a new board.

All handplanes are made from recycled foam from broken surfboards and recycled neoprene from old wetsuits that would otherwise be thrown away. We get our broken boards and old wetsuits from people like you who don’t want to see their old board end up in the trash. Each handplane is hand shaped, glassed and polished just like a full size surfboard. If you have some old broken boards or wetsuits you can’t use please contact us we’ll be happy to reuse them.
