After four years it is time to move.

September 21, 2012

The Slingluff Gallery will be relocating to a small town in the western Catskills along the upper Delaware River called Callicoon, Ny. There are many reasons as to why we are relocating from Philadelphia, most of all is that we want to feel like we are a part of a community. A town that supports and helps with the building of other small businesses, one that embraces and celebrates the arts, a town where you can be yourself and be happy with who you are. We will never forget Philadelphia and the amazing people that we have met here. Four years of our life has been here, on Girard, it’s all that we really know as a couple. From the good to the bad we have seen it all on Girard. From being spit on by a police officer to seeing muggings, from flowers popping up from the sidewalks to flower boxes being setup, from buildings like the one next to Frankford Hall and behind the gallery going up with no permits posted to all of the great times spent at Egg,  it has felt like a life time. Yes, we will never forget Philadelphia and the amazing people that we have met here.

Come over to the gallery on Saturday, September 22nd from 6-8p to say hello and enjoy a drink. After the gallery closes the good people from the M Room will be offering some drink specials and some appetizers as a going away gift.

Wish I made it down before the gallery closed, but never did. Sounds like the new place will be great. Good luck.
