Visit Cabot Cheese Farms Oct 13th!

As a lactose-intolerant person – Cabot was a dream come true, now you can meet the farmers!

From Cabot: This fall the farm families who own Cabot Creamery Cooperative and McCadam are holding our 3rd ever Open Farm Sunday event on October 13th from 11am-2pm.

Now is your chance to meet the farmers that feed your family with delicious, quality cheeses, yogurt, and other dairy products! Each farm has its own character and many have secondary ventures such as corn mazes, bed & breakfast operations, maple tapping, and composting. We even have a chocolatier among our many farms…so stop by and be surprised by a behind-the-scenes look at a dairy farm!

Your family will be invited to tour the farm, experience the family traditions and local flavors that are Cabot Cheese, as guests are invited to meet the farmers, see their cows, join in barnyard activities and of course, sample delicious award-winning cheddar.

There are 13 farm families in New York who are opening their doors to the public.
